As an Eligible Resident, you can apply and (if accepted by Village Management) enter into a Residential Agreement at Murdoch University Village before receiving and accepting an offer to study at the Murdoch University (University Offer) with the knowledge that you can terminate your Residential Agreement with limited liability.
To qualify, you must be an Eligible Resident and enter into a Residential Agreement at Murdoch University Village for the 2017 year commencing 18 January 2017 and:
- Be notified by the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) that you have not received a University Offer; or
- Receive a University Offer from UAC but elect not to accept the University Offer.
The First Year Exemption will not apply where you have accepted a University Offer but you elect to defer or withdraw from your studies.
You must notify Village Management in writing (Resident Notification) within 5 days from the UAC Main Round offers release date (generally around late January – refer to the UAC website for actual dates).
