What is included in my room?

You will receive the room inclusions that come standard with a residential agreement at that village. This means that rooms may not be furnished with linen (this is at the discretion of the village). If linen is available, an additional charge may apply.

What is the maximum length of stay?  Is there a minimum length of stay?

You may stay for a maximum of two weeks in any one contract period. There is no minimum length of stay.

Which cities and locations can I stay in?

CLV residents in the US may stay at any CLV-owned village in the United States, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Australia (subject to availability). Villages that are managed but not owned by CLV are not included in Go Explore. Check with Reception to find out more about locations and availability. Each location is subject to availability and/or blackout dates.

Who can book a room through Go Explore?

To be eligible, you must be a current resident at a CLV property and be in good financial standing with your payments and any other financial commitments to your own village. You must also be a resident of your CLV village at the time you travel abroad and may not book or reserve a trip for a time period when you are no longer a CLV resident.

Will I have to share a room with other residents?

The village you visit may feature shared bedrooms or multiple bedrooms in one apartment. Therefore you may be sharing your room or apartment with other residents or guests.

How long does the booking process work?

To apply for a room, fill in the application form above or print out the PDF located in your village Resources and Documents page, then submit it to the office.

From there the request will be routed to the relevant Regional HQ (e.g. Houston for US) and then routed to the desired destination site for physical confirmation of availability.

The request should be confirmed (or denied) within 3 business days. To qualify for a room, you must be in good financial and behavioral standing with your village. A non-transferrable security deposit of $150 (US) is required before your Go Explore room is booked. The deposit is refundable barring any damages or other necessary deductions.

Can I take advantage of Go Explore for accommodation within the US?

If you are a CLV resident in United States, you may stay at other participating Go Explore villages in the United States. So go take a weekend trip or two!

Can I extend my stay?

Go Explore is available for a maximum of two weeks (14 days) in any one contract period. Campus Living Villages also offers short stays in some of our properties. In the event that you wish to extend your stay, please enquire at the Host Village to find out if you can extend your stay and switch to a short stay contract. A minimum number of nights stay is usually required and charges will be applied at the daily rate applicable at the Host Village.

Are there any additional costs to expect?

If you rent a car and if the host village normally charges for parking, you may be charged a nominal market fee to park your vehicle on-site. A nominal fee may also be charged for the host village to provide linen, if available.
