what our interns have to say

Edward Holmes - HR

Last summer I was employed by CLV as the Human Resources Intern. I was at the time finishing my Masters in HR. The work I did was captivating and insightful to my future career in the field of HR. I learnt a lot from working at CLV that I have been able to put to use in my work at Clyde and Co, one of the largest law firms in the world and now in my role as a well-being research at Manchester Metropolitan University. The internship gave me greater confidence in my knowledge of HR practices and how they work in the real world and the training I received helps me on a daily basis.

Lavinia Alexoiu - Business Analyst

CLV offers an internship like no other. Although I was there for only 8 weeks, my work had an impact on the future of the company, and how many other internships give you that opportunity? I also gained two incredible mentors, one who helped me with my technical and business skills and one who was constantly there for me to help grow my confidence, soft skills and employability. If you don’t want to be just ‘another intern’, but an integral part of a great team, give this amazing internship a go!

Thomas Lynch – Health and Safety

Interning at CLV provided a valuable insight into life in the working world and by the end of day one I had met almost everyone in the office. My mentorship team encouraging me to adopt positions of leadership and responsibility that ensured I had plenty to talk about when it came interviews for future graduate jobs, using these experiences I have now been offered a place on a Big-Four graduate scheme! I learnt so much in such a short space of time and I can’t thank everyone at CLV enough for the time they invested in me – in particular my leadership team!
